As a Coach and Therapist, I Can Unlock Your Full Potential.

Hello and thanks for dropping by. A warm welcome!

I’m Allan Kelly. I am a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and EMCC Accredited Coach. Over the last 23 years I’ve helped all kinds of people from all walks of life with all kinds of life issues.

You have decided to make some positive changes. I appreciate it might seem daunting.

I can help.

I’m not one of those therapists and coaches who just sits there saying mmm, ahah, that’s interesting etc. I am right in there alongside you, working hard with you to get to grips with your struggles, to create positive changes which will last.

We’ll be thinking, conversational, practical partners. Together we’ll make the magic happen.

  • Maybe you’re feeling low, depressed or anxious.

  • Perhaps you’re finding it hard to focus, concentrate or motivate yourself.

  • It could be you’re having problems at work or in your career.

  • Are you struggling with a relationship?

  • Has your relationship or marriage broken down?

  • Are you struggling to find a relationship?

  • Maybe someone close to you has said they think you need some help.

  • Are you feeling lonely or isolated?

  • Could be you’re just not feeling quite yourself but you don’t know why.

  • Are you drinking too much? Are you eating too much…or too little?

  • Are you addicted to drink, drugs, food, social media, dating, sex, porn, shopping, exercise etc?

  • Sleep a problem? Waking up at about 4am with the weight of the world on your shoulders?

  • Are you feeling frustrated, angry or even burnt out?

  • Arguments, disagreements and falling out with other people. Are these recurring features in your life?

  • Do you rarely feel fulfilled? Is nothing ever enough?

  • Are you having thoughts which just intrude in your head and you just can’t seem to shake them off?

  • Is there something you’re obsessing about?

  • Is there something you haven’t spoken about before but would like to discuss now?

  • Perhaps you’re in your middle years and wondering what life’s all about.

  • It could be you think ‘There must be something wrong with me’.

  • Have you had therapy in the past but you think now might be a good time to have some more?

I can help.

"I have been working with Allan for 3 years now.

I started at a point in my life when all the moving parts weren't going in the direction I wanted them to and I felt circumstances were prevailing. I benefited enormously from my weekly sessions with Allan. He alway provided extremely accurate assertions that gave me real insight and in turn resulted in tangible positive changes. In that time, I have taken the steps to create a home in London, found a long term partner and accelerated in my professional life starting a new role in a prestigious global firm.

I credit my work with Allan as getting me to this point. I would say to anyone that Allan's time is well worth the investment in yourself.”

Your Questions Answered

  • I refer to myself quite simply as a therapist. Once a week for 50 minutes, usually at the same time on the same day each week, we would meet and talk about anything and everything you wish. I would listen, of course, make comments, maybe give some reflections and interpretations being empathic, supportive, understanding, encouraging and sometimes challenging. You might see different ways of looking at things, gain some insights, have some ‘aha’ moments, lightbulbs turning on and gain more self-awareness. The goal of therapy is to create positive psychological change, to grow and develop as a person, to feel more fulfilled, more at ease.

  • Absolutely anything and everything. For example…Relationships, both work and personal. Family issues. Anxiety. Depression. Personality issues. Problems at work. Obsessions, compulsions, addictions. General feelings of unhappiness. Identity issues (Who am I? What defines me?). Existential issues (What gives my life meaning?). And so much more.

  • Research has shown that 95% of people benefit from therapy. The Covid pandemic brought many more people to therapy because of the issues which Covid has brought up, not necessarily directly related to Covid itself. But you don’t have to believe what I say. Check out what some of my former clients have to say here.
